Spring Martial Arts Course - 23rd and 24th May 2015

Once again, Bushido Budo Kai are proud to host the Spring Martial Arts Course at a large dojo building adjacent to the newly refurbished Twitchen House Holiday Park in Woolacombe Bay, Devon.

The last couple of years have been huge success, with sessions run by many top instructors and attendance filling our mat area completely. We therefore encourage you to book your place as early as possible… numbers for training will be limited, although increased from previous years!

Our aim this year is to run an equally successful and enjoyable event and we would love for you to be a part of it. The actual content will be dependent upon those who come and the arts they practice but it will involve a variety of disciplines including Judo, Ju-Jitsu, and Aikido along with some surprises!

The large dojo allows us this time to have permanently laid mats throughout the weekend and therefore more training hours per day along with the opportunity to open the invitation to many more people!

Hopefully, all information that is required is attached but if you do have other questions feel free to contact us.

To help us to plan as quickly as we can it is important that we have course fees and booking forms in as soon as possible. Your help in coordinating this is appreciated and if you can give estimates of numbers sooner, then we would be grateful.

Accommodation

A variety of accommodation has already been reserved by us, available for the weekend or for an additional cost, the whole week if you wish to extend your stay.

Caravans vary in grade and have either 2 or 3 bedrooms, with further sleeping available in the lounge areas in some. Please see the information document for details.

Further information on the types of caravan available can be viewed at www.woolacombe.co.uk/devon-holiday-parks/twitchen-house

Linen is charged at £8 per double and £4 per single set.

Some of these units can accommodate pets although there is an additional charge of £20 per pet with a maximum of 3 pets.

It is encouraged that bookings are made with us as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Should you decide to make your own arrangements to stay elsewhere, there are a variety of hotels and B&Bs in the area but once again early booking is encouraged.

If you fancy camping or have a touring caravan then Easewell Farm, adjacent to Twitchen House, is right where our training will take place and so is ideally situated.

Course training fees

Last year’s course was a great success and we hope as many people as possible are able to join us again this year.

Children and Youths (up to and including 17): £30

Adults (aged 18 plus): £40

You only need to pay these fees if you intend on training with us during the weekend. Spectators are free!
